Located in Canterbury this is a national historic landmark and museum with the village offering tours, exhibits, workshops all on 694 acres with gardens, fields, ponds and forest.

Castle In The Clouds
Located in Moultonborough come see the outstanding views and amazing turn-of-the-century 16 room mansion on 550 acre mountaintop estate overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee.

Clarks Trading Post
Located in Lincoln, Clark’s Trading Post has been featured on Good Morning America, National Geographic Explorer and was chosen as one of the best attractions in the White Mountains. See for yourself with the Clark’s trained bears and the White Mountain Central Railroad.

Christa McAuliffe Planetarium
This is a living memorial to Christa for her dedication to teaching. Located in Concord this Discovery Center has programs for all ages from the state-of-the-art Planetarium Theater to the Observatory.

Funspot
Located in Laconia near Weirs Beach this is the place for the family to have fun. They offer ten pin and candlepin bowling, cash bingo, miniature golf and over 500 arcade games. There is something for everyone!

Gunstock
Gunstock is known for premium family fun in the heart of the Lakes Region in Gilford. Enjoy camping and take a lift ride or go horseback riding. Enjoy the fresh air of New Hampshire.

Heritage Farm Pancake House
Located in Sanbornton Heritage Farm is a great place for the whole family with wagon rides, petting farm and a great family style breakfast. In the spring watch how maple syrup is made and don’t forget to pick some up for home!

Highland Mountain Bike Park
Located in Northfield this park is committed to providing the ultimate riding experience and building a world-class bike park. Bring your own bike or rent one on site this is a great experience.

Laconia Motorcycle Week
Always a crowd pleaser, this annual event draws a nation wide crowd. Come see what motorcycling is all about.

The Lodge at Belmont ~ Greyhound Racing
This is the only greyhound park in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region and offers year-round Simulcast Thoroughbred, Harness and Greyhound Racing plus LIVE Greyhound Racing in the summer.

Logs Of Fun Arcade & Daytona Fun Park
Come to Weirs Beach and enjoy go-karts, arcades, climbing walls, mini-golf, batting cages and more. Located by Lake Winnipesaukee this park has plenty to offer the entire family.

The Loon Center
The Loon Center located in Moultonborough is the headquarters and visitor center of the Loon Preservation Committee with a Sanctuary of 200 acres and 5,000 feet of shoreline on Lake Winnipesaukee.

Meadowbrook
Located in Gilford, New Hampshire; Meadowbrook offers summer concerts for all tastes. Some of the biggest entertainment names have come to this venue. Could just be the highlight of your stay!

Mount Washington Cruises
Cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee, the largest lake in New Hampshire aboard the M/S Mount Washington. Beautiful scenic cruises they also offer Dinner Dance and buffet dinners with live music. Ports leave from Weirs Beach, Meredith, Alton Bay, Wolfeboro or Center Harbor. Smaller vessels are the Sophie C and Doris E.

New Hampshire Motor Speedway
Located in Loudon, NH on 1,100 acres this complex has multi-uses and is the largest sports facility in the state. NHMS host the only NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, NASCAR Nationwide Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Prescott Farm Audubon Center
This is the NH Audubon’s program facility in the Lakes Region. Minutes from downtown Laconia the building incorporates high-performance building design features including a geothermal heating and cooling system and solar-generated electricity. There is no admission charge, but donations are always welcome.

Polar Caves
The Polar Caves located in Rumney is the cool place to be in summer, there are a series of caves and passages formed by falling boulders nearly 50,000 years ago. Explore the Rock Garden, take a self-guided tour or have a picnic and see the gift shop.

Ruggles Mine
A little off the beaten path but well worth it; Ruggles Mine is the oldest mica, feldspar, beryl and uranium mine in the USA. Located in Grafton come and enjoy this 200 year old mine with giant rooms, tunnels and an open pit.

Sled Dog Derby
This is an amazing experience to watch these dogs and owners. Get to see up close this Sled Dog Derby that is an annual local favorite activity.

Squam Lakes Science Center
Located in picturesque Holderness Squam Lakes Natural Science Center has amazing live animal exhibits, natural science education programs and lake cruises. Come learn about our natural world and gain understanding of ecology by exploring NH’s natural world.

Tarbin Gardens
The Tarbin Gardens are located in Franklin and is the place for nature lovers, bird & butterfly enthusiasts and garden lovers. Enjoy tea in the English style gardens or stop at the garden center.

Winnipesaukee Railroads
Two great ways to spend the day! Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad on Lake Winnipesaukee with a station on the boardwalk at Weirs Beach and in Meredith. There is also the Hobo Railroad right near Loon Mountain and the White Mountain National Forest located on the Kancamagus Highway in Lincoln.
